DaVita’s local RN management ensures that staffing concerns and issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Well-maintained dialysis equipment

DaVita provides all dialysis-specific equipment needed to perform services including single pass dialysis machines, water purification devices, peritoneal dialysis (PD) cycler machines, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and apheresis equipment. DaVita provides all treatment-specific supplies needed to perform services including dialyzers, dialysate, bloodlines and CRRT and apheresis disposable supplies. DaVita’s local biomedical team ensures that safety standards and regulations are met, maintained and documented according to the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) standards required by the Joint Commission.

Education for your hospital nurses

As a part of the hospital’s quality improvement program, DaVita provides hospital nursing personnel with educational programs aimed at enhancing their ability to care for renal patients, and to more collaboratively partner with DaVita dialysis nurses and nephrologists to preserve the care continuum.

Dialysis patient education

As a service to the hospital, its patients and physicians, DaVita has a comprehensive patient education program for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The program aims to increase patient awareness of modality choices and promote pathways that support wellness and quality of life while on dialysis.
