We call DaVita’s vision for social responsibility our Trilogy of Care: caring for our patients, caring for our teammates and caring for our world. Our philosophy goes beyond the focus of our business, and is what inspires us not just to do well but to do good. The Community Care report reflects the efforts of more than 30 patient-, teammate- and community-focused programs that DaVita launched in its first 10 years of service.

The ever-growing catalog of goodwill initiatives, pioneered by teammates at all levels of the organization, touches a growing number of lives every year in hundreds of local and global communities. It has become a fully integrated extension of who, what and why DaVita is.

It is our fervent conviction that if we create a thriving, sustainable community for our teammates, they in turn create a special clinical and caring community for our patients and their families, and are inspired to help others.
