I havent been in touch since last october where I had a ctscan on the kidneys , with dye ....they wanted to make sure it was a cyst and not anything else on my left kidney. The dye and scan went fine I had a blood test 6 weeks later and my creatine was the same number as before the scan, 1.1
and it was a cyst which they said it can be left alone.
How did you make out with that catscan using the dye? I understand that it is very, very harmful to kidneys and can cause damage. I hope you are okay. kidneyhope or klife.

I am diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease and I am having a ct scan with dye....is it safe to have dye at this stage of my disease and has anyone done that too??? any permanent change in creatinin levels?? please help
