ESRD Legislation is Law!
On Tuesday, July 15, both the House and Senate overrode the President’s  Veto of HR 6331 the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA).  With this vote, Congress ensured that kidney patients would receive additional, needed education about Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and that there would be an updated payment system for dialysis treatments.

Our mission

Kidney Care Connections strives to educate public policy makers, kidney care professionals, kidney patients and their families about advancing treatment options and providing the best care to  patients. Because most kidney care is paid for by Medicare, it is imperative that the medical needs of people with kidney disease be understood by the government and America’s citizens.
