Blueberry Blast Smoothie

Serving size: 1 cup  

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 8 packets of Splenda®
  • 6 tablespoons of protein powder
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 14 ounces of apple juice (no added sugar)

Preparation

      1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

I leave in South Africa and would love to use this recipe however I dont know what Splenda is. Please advise me. Thanks Moderator: Splenda is a low calorie sugar substitute widely available in the US. You can use other sugar substitutes instead. You may need to adjust the quantity based on the sweetening power of the substitute you use.

I like this reciepe but I make mine with sugar and without the protein powder. I am allergic to artifical sweetners so sugar is the only one I use. It's not so sweet made with 3 teaspoons sugar
