Serving size:  1/12 cake

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup granulated Splenda® sweetener
  • 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons self-rising white flour, divided use
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons applesauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Splenda® brown sugar blend
  • 3 tablespoons margarine, melted

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Mix granulated Splenda®, 1-cup flour and nutmeg.
  3. Add milk, egg and applesauce. Mix well.
  4. Pour batter into a 9” x 9” greased baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl mix 3 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, brown sugar Splenda® and margarine.
  6. Spoon topping over batter.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
