Deviled Eggs for Parties

Deviled Eggs for Parties is the perfect kidney-friendly appetizer to make for your next get-together. This recipe is good for people with kidney disease, diabetes or those on dialysis.

Portions: 24     Serving size: 1 egg (2 stuffed halves)


    • 24 eggs
    • 1-1/2 cups mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon mustard
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon paprika


  1. Boil eggs for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Let eggs cool for approximately 1 hour.
  3. Slice eggs in half, lengthwise and scoop out the yolks.
  4. Combine the yolks, mayonnaise, mustard and pepper; mix well.
  5. Stuff yolk mixture into egg white halves and sprinkle with paprika.

This recipe is simple and tasty. The mixture really needs to be mashed so there aren't any lumps. It's an easy way to add extra protein before going to the unit for treatments.
