This recipe was great! Very simple and very tasty. The only thing I did different was put some cumin and pepper on the chops before cooking. Yum :)

Sounds Great, I like pork cooked to a Pink color. is 5 min per side in broiler excessive? I would suggest 2-3 min per side

I made this recipe last week and it was delicious. I left the salt out , it wasn't needed. I don't cook with salt except for baking.

My wife made this for our Sunday dinner and it was EXCELLENT. The apple spice sauce/compote was very tasty and much better than plain applesauce. It had the sweetness and texture to complement the chops. We also had the potato/cauliflower mash (DaVita recipe) along with the chops[INVALID]what a great combination. You know it's good when your 16 yr old daughter goes for seconds, doesn't usually happens. We will make this one again soon.

Excellent! I brushed the chops with oil and then cooked them on stove top in pan. Also, I did not have all of the individual spices, so I used 1/2 tsp of allspice and it turned out great!

I tried this for the first time along with the Cranberry & Roasted Garlic Risotto. It was TO DIE FOR! I made a few revisions. I left the nutmeg out and I added some apple cider and a little (cornstarch & water mixture) to thicken my sauce a little. The directions say to brown sugar, salt, pepper. nutmeg, cinnamon & apples, but I found that alone did not provide much of a sauce and it was not as thick as I liked. This was SO DELICIOUS and my husband gave me a big THUMBS UP. SO this one goes in the KEEPERS file!
