Asian Lettuce Wraps Lower Protein

DaVita renal dietitian Nichole from Maryland wants her dialysis patients to “live longer and feel better!” She helps them achieve this goal by sharing delicious recipes such as her Asian Lettuce Wraps Lower Protein—little lettuce cups filled with flavorful ground meat, veggies and rice—just like you’d find in an Asian restaurant. Providing dialysis patients with a variety of tasty foods to enjoy, is one of the ways Nichole believes that a renal diet can become a “realistic routine.”
