Can't understand your recipes they show high potassium,phosphorous,sodium values under diabetic choices what are these values meat,starch,fat? carb choices with a no. value what do these mean? Dietitian comment: The renal and renal diabetic food choices are determined by the ingredients and nutrient content and patterned after the National Renal Diet from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (www.eatright.org). The Carbohydrate Choices are for people with diabetes who use carbohydrate counting to help manage their diets. One carbohydrate choice is equal to 15 grams of carbohydrate.

This was very good. My husband loved it. I will be making this again. I add a little more onion and bell pepper and cumin and tomato sauce.made it alot better

I eliminated the green pepper and added a little more onions. I also had to add ground red pepper, and added some onion powder. Living in the southwest we like things a little spicier.

I make these for my father, who is a vegetarian. We substitute Quorn--a mushroom protein meat-substitute that comes in a ground beef consistency--for the ground beef, and he loves it. I also use a local chili powder blend (no salt added) to make it a little spicier. One of his favorites!

My husband really liked it - it's a first w/o sour cream and avacados. Went a little heavier on the onions and cumin as it keeps his desire for the salt shaker down. Very easy to make and will use again.
