Martha's Coffee Frappe'

Serving size: 8 ounces

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup cold strong coffee
  • 1/4 cup liquid non-dairy creamer
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar or sweetener equivalent
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender, and blend into a smooth slush.
  2. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.

Helpful hints

  • This beverage must be counted as fluid, about 8 ounces.  Decrease the portion to meet your fluid goals if needed.
  • For variety omit chocolate syrup and use “flavored” non-dairy creamer instead.
  • If desired, top with whipped topping such as Cool Whip®.
