Helpful hints

  • Chill ingredients before assembling. Adjust ice as needed.
  • Use diet lemon-lime soda for a diabetes-friendly lower carbohydrate punch. Count as 12 grams carbohydrate, one Carbohydrate Choice.
  • This is a quick punch to make, and it is very refreshing. It’s great for any last-minute preparation for a party or to serve unexpected guests since most of the ingredients have a long shelf life.
  • Pour the soda in the mixture slowly to prevent foam.

Pineapple Punch

patient rep says:

This punch was a HUGE hit at our celebration. So easy to put together that no one had to spend time in the kitchen. Instead of adding the crushed pineapple, I put frozen raspberries, blackberries and blueberries in the bottom of a small food storage container then added the crushed pineapple and the juice from the can, then froze that. I made 4 containers and when they began to melt, the punch turned a beautiful blush color. Everyone liked it and no one knew it was kidney friendly!! Thanks.
