I used this recipe for Dressing at Thanksgiving this year...I left out all the spices and veggies...and simply used 1 tablespoon of Onion powder...also reduced the sugar to just a pinch & substituted creamer for the rice milk...i wanted SAVORY cornbread for dressing...not SWEET....it was PERFECT...cut it and let it dry a day...crumbled perfectly...made great dressing with unsalted chicken stock and veggies...it's a LITTLE dry...but thats PERFECT for dressing...I might UP the fluid or fat a bit for moister 'eating' cornbread.

This is so wonderful, I'm so glad I could not sleep. I have been stressing out with my lab reports coming in so badly. I love good old fashion home-cooked meals so I tend to eat what I shouldn't. Thank you so much for this web-site. I feel confident your receipes will help me. I have been a dialysis patient for almost 5 years and JUST now getting serious about my eating habits. I have been fortunate not to have any further medical problems, but I am afraid if I go any further, I will have problems that will hurt me. Thank you again for your web-site.
