I'm reviewing this for a version modified based on the other reviews for the enchilada sauce. We also included a small amount of shredded cheddar and garnished with green onions on top.

My husband said this needs something. It is too Bland He added To Cholula to spice It up. Lesson learned, I Will Make sure to add more garlic, cumin and chili powder next time. The Davita enchilada sauce recipe sauce needs some help with spices too.

Made these the other night, using the sauce recipe also. Hubby and I both thought they were pretty tasty. I just mixed the sour cream & onions with the chicken and put 1/4 cup of the mixture in each tortilla. That made it easier. I think for a little bite, I would add some diced green chiles next time.

These absolutely had NO taste! Even with the chili powder and cumin. My husband, who will eat just about anything, said they were tasteless. Don't bother making these. YUCK!

They were rather dry and lacking in flavor. I will try again, with cumin added to the enchilada sauce (also from this website). I will also season the chicken as it cooks and try adding the chicken broth as suggested by another user.

I used a little cumin and garlic powder in the enchilada sauce, which I made from this site also, I cooked 1/3 cup chopped onion and 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper with the shredded chicken for a little color and taste, added the sour cream as called for in recipe, It was fabulous,I will make it again and again!! 5 star recipe.

I am confused because I thought tomatoes were high in potassium and that dialysis patients have to watch their potassium Moderator comment: Tomatoes are high in potassium and should be limited if you are on a low potassium diet. However, you can include a small amount of higher potassium fruit or vegetable if your potassium is staying mormal and if you limit the amount and frequency. This recipe provides 1/3 cup tomatoes per serving.

This is an excellant recipe! I used the Echilada sauce from this site as well. Made a few minor modifacations though. In the shredded chicken, I added Paprika and Cumen and a little low sodium chicken broth (Just to get it moist, not soupy). I also added Cumen and a few pinches of oregano to the sauce recipe. This turned into an (almost) authentic Mexican meal. I will be making this again.
