We used this for a pot luck and everyone loved it and it enabled us to enjoy the party but have something safe to eat.

This is simply awesome, but being an older person , my husband and i just cant eat so much , as with most of the recipes on here they are for large family's , it would be so nice if DaVita had as most other sites have at the top of the recipe where you could change the serving's, I wonder if that might could be possible in the near future for i sure do love DaVita.....Thank's much.

This dessert is colorful and delicious - adding a few craisins adds color and texture.

This is my 13 year old daughter's favorite Davita recipe to make and eat. Its nice to have something she loves since she has to pass up so many of the things her friends eat. She is in late stage 4.

How can this 1/2 c of this wonderful tasting treat be ok for a diabetic? Real sugar, marshmallows, and powdered sugar? Even if you were to use a sugar-free sugar, it still calls for marshmallows and powdered sugar. Moderator comment: The American Dietetic Associaton's position is that it's the total amount of carbohydrate eaten that's important, not the source (sugar vs. starch). If you follow the helpful hints for lowering carbs, 1/2 cup provides 24 grams or 1-1/2 carbohydrate choices which is acceptable for a diabetic diet. For kidney patients who are having difficulty eating, this recipe will help them meet their carb goals more easily.

I added a 1/2 cup of Promod (fruit punch flavor) to this recipe for a tasting day in the unit. My patient's loved it!

Every year I present to 4th and 5th graders for career day as a renal dietitian. I had the kids make this recipe one year and they all loved it! Many were asking for seconds. Very quick and easy to make.
