Portions: 6     Serving size: 1/2 cup


  • 3 medium Granny Smith apples
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip® frozen dessert topping
  • 2 Caramel Nut Blast Balance® Gold Bars


  1. Defrost Cool Whip.
  2. Core and cut apples into small pieces. Cut caramel bars into small pieces.
  3. Combine apple pieces and caramel bar pieces in a bowl.
  4. Fold in Cool Whip. Chill for 1 hour before serving.

How can you e-mail this ? It is great and a friend would love to have it. It was easy to make and taste great. Everyone else at dinner thought so to. Dietitian comment: Yes you can email directly from the recipe page on Look for the box to the right of the recipe name and select [INVALID]Email page[INVALID].

Made this for all the patients, protein bars are a little tough to cut but it turned out good, most people liked it. I think the serving size was a litle larger than 1/4 cup. Also it was hard to make sure every portion had some protein bar in it.
