St. Patrick’s Crinkle-cut Carrots and Green Peas by Lesleen from Florida

There’s no doubt about it, Lesleen is a very popular dietitian at DaVita. On a patient satisfaction survey, she was rated #1 in her division. However, individual achievement hasn’t stopped her from being a successful team player at DaVita. “The most rewarding aspect of my job is working with my teammates,” Lesleen shares. “I really enjoy the encouragement for team players.”

Lesleen’s interest in diet and health began in her homeland of Jamaica and then continued with her move to the United States. She completed her education at Florida International University.

Today, after being with DaVita for 6-1/2 years, she delights in the benefits of her geographically-desirable Florida workplace. “My center is on the Atlantic Ocean with sunny and warm winter. And what makes it really special is how culturally diversified both the patients and my teammates are,” Lesleen shares.

It’s no wonder Lesleen was rated #1 by her patients. She has a winning, positive attitude that touches everyone she meets. “I like to cater to patients’ needs, but I also strive for optimal nutrition status. I really want to make a difference in people’s lives,” says Lesleen.

Lesleen is hoping you’ll enjoy some optimal nutrition with her recipe for St. Patrick’s Crinkle-cut Carrots and Green Peas. It doesn’t even have to be St. Patrick’s Day to enjoy this colorful combination.
