Easy Chicken Breasts in Herb Sauce forTwo

Serving size: 1 chicken breast half

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (8 ounces raw)*

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan; add lemon juice, pepper, garlic powder, celery salt, celery seed, mustard and paprika. Cook sauce for 1 minute stirring well. Remove pan from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  3. Place chicken breast halves in an oven-proof baking dish; pour sauce over chicken and turn to coat.  Bake uncovered at 350° F for 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is done.
