I'm using stevia instead of the sugar and do I use ground ginger in the can or grate it? Sounds delicious. I will try it. Dietitian comment: Yes the Stevia will work as replacement for sugar. Use the dry, ground ginger.

very tasty recipe, however the directions are a little confusing. When I set aside 1 cup of the marinade for basting I had none left for marinading the chicken. The recipe only makes about one cup total. Are there any typos on the measurements? Moderator: We have corrected the recipe to set aside 3/4 cup of the marinade. Thanks for letting us know about this mistake.
