Frost on the Pumpkin Pie

What can be substituted for the 16 oz of frosting? I do not want to cook using a product that contains partially hydrogenated soybean oil (very unhealthy in my book). Also, I do not like the artificial food colourings in the ingredient list. Any healthy substitution is appreciated :- )Dietitian comment: You can make a homemade icing instead. Try the vanilla butter cream frosting at http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Homemade-Vanilla-Frosting or search online for a recipe. This recipe does not contain artificial food coloring.
