I see that 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Is that okay? I have been cooking for my son and using no salt at all which is practically killing the rest of us. Is a little bit okay? Moderator comment: It depends on your son's prescription for sodium in a day's time. If you are using fresh foods that are unprocessed you can add small amounts of salt and still stay within the daily target for sodium. You can use the Nutrition Log in DaVita Diet Helper to track your son's daily intake and compare to his diet prescription for sodium. If he is below the target, a small amount of salt or higher sodium condiments can be added. Always check with his renal dietitian.

Do you let the chicken marinate at all? Moderator: This recipe simply calls for coating the chicken but I think it may be tastier if you marinate it for an hour or so before grilling. Great suggestion!
