Lettuce and Mushroom Salad

I DO NOT like mushrooms, can I substitute another veggie or just leave out all together? If I leave out the mushrooms what would the potass and phos levels be? How do I recalculate when I omit an item in a recipe? Dietitian comment, You can leave them out or substitute 1 cup of chopped bell peppers. If you leave the mushrooms out the potassium is 175 mg and phosphorus is 23 mg per serving. Try using the My Recipe Creation feature in DaVita Diet Helper to recreate recipes with the ingredients you like. You will see the nutrient content as you create your recipe.
