Durham Southern-Style Chicken Salad

Portions: 6     Serving size: 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1/2 medium white onion, chopped fine
  • 3/4 cup celery, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Preparation

  1. Combine chicken, onion and celery in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar and sugar.
  3. Add thoroughly mixed mayonnaise mixture to chicken and stir. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
