Honey Chive Dressing

Honey Chive Dressing has an Asian flair with fresh ginger root, reduced-sodium soy sauce and a hint of sesame oil. It's a great kidney-friendly addition for salad or fish.

Portions: 5     Serving size: 1-1/2 tablespoons


  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, grated
  • 2-1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil


  1. Chop chives and grate ginger root.
  2. In a small bowl whisk all ingredients together.
  3. Serve dressing over salad greens or arugula.

  • Look for soy sauce brand with the lowest sodium content.
