Apple Butter

Serving size: 1 tablespoon
Ingredients
- 4-1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Mix ingredients in a small roasting pan.
- Bake until brown and thickened (approximately 2 hours), stirring occasionally during baking.
- Pour into a sterile container and refrigerate or freeze for later use.
