Cranberry Salsa

This fruit-based garnish accompanies turkey,ham,chicken and fish with panache,and adds a splash of color to your plate. A great treat for the holidays or anytime,Cranberry Salsa is a creative way to add some fruity fun to any meal.

Portions: 20     Serving size: 2 tablespoons


  • 16 ounces canned whole cranberries
  • 8 ounces canned crushed pineapple
  • 10 ounces frozen strawberries with syrup
  • 1/2 cup applesauce


    1. Drain pineapple. Thaw strawberries.
    2. In a large bowl mix all ingredients together until combined.
    3. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

  • Serve with meat or poultry, add to salad greens or use as a topping on a slice of pound cake.

can I use this recipe for thanksgiving dinner? instead of using canned cranberries can I use fresh cooked cranberries and just follow the rest of the recipe above?
