Mexican Seasoning

Used to make soft tacos. I didn't have cayenne or paprika on hand so substituted by crushing some red pepper from pizza days and the taste was amazing. Spicy and even with the scant 1/4 cup meat it was suitably zesty and satisfying, hunger-wise.

Mexican Seasoning

Tried mixing this recipe with 8oz cream cheese for a creamy mexican dip. We heated it a little in the microwave to soften it, then served it with unsalted pretzels and low sodium tortilla chips. It was liked very well by everyone who tried it. Nutrients per 1oz serving (using regular cream cheese): 105 Calories, 38mg Calcium, 39mg Phosphorus, 85 mg Potassium and 101mg Sodium.

This is excellent and nobody missed the 300 - 400 mg. sodium (or more) from packaged seasoning!
