Ingredients

  • 24 ounces cream cheese
  • 20 ounces canned crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  1. Soften cream cheese then place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Drain pineapple well. Chop bell pepper.
  3. Add ingredients to bowl and mix well to blend.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball. Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight.

Helpful hints

  • Be sure the pineapple is thoroughly drained, squeezing liquid by hand, if needed.
  • Serve with a variety of crackers or pita chips.
  • Try low-fat cream cheese to reduce the fat content.
