Easy Chicken Breasts in Herb Sauce for Two

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan; add lemon juice, pepper, garlic powder, celery salt, celery seed, mustard and paprika. Cook sauce for 1 minute stirring well. Remove pan from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Place chicken breast halves in an oven-proof baking dish; pour sauce over chicken and turn to coat. Bake uncovered at 350° F for 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is done.
Helpful hints
- The raw chicken breasts should weight approximately 4 ounces each.
- This higher protein recipe may be appropriate for a lower protein diet. Adjust the portion size to match your meal plan.
