Ingredients
- 40 ounces sliced canned peaches
- nonstick cooking spray
- 15.25 ounces boxed yellow cake mix (dry mix)
- 1/2 cup unsalted margarine
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Spray cooking spray on the bottom of a 9" x 13" cake pan.
- Dump two cans of undrained peaches (or pineapple) into cake pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the package of yellow cake mix evenly on top of fruit.
- Dot with margarine.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
Helpful hints
- 40 ounces canned fruit is equivalent to 2 cans.You can use pineapple or any of your favorite canned fruit.
- Top with whipped topping if desired.
- If you have diabetes, reduce portion if necessary to stay within your carbohydrate goal.
