Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups all-purpose white flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups fresh apples, peeled and sliced
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Blend all ingredients in order given, apples last and blended least.
- Grease a 12” x 7-1/2” glass baking pan or 2 smaller pans.
- Pour mixture into pan and bake at for approximately 1 hour. Cake will be golden.
Helpful hints
- Do not over cook, the cake should be moist.
