Helpful hints

  • Carbohydrate content is less than 1 gram if sugar-free lemonade is used. Check lemonade ingredients and avoid brands that contain phosphate additives.
  • Buy fresh wing drummettes at the grocery. A 1-1/4 pound package contains 12 drummettes.  If unavailable, ask your butcher to cut whole chicken wings into drummette size.
  • Boneless chicken pieces may be used in this recipe. Check for doneness after 20 minutes.

Suggest covering with foil, bake for 30 min., Stir, return to oven for 30 min. Stir and remove foil then bake for another 30 min. They will melt in your mouth. Very tender. I think I will add a little fresh lemon juice the next time. Definitely a keeper!
