How would I make this in the oven. I don't have a slow cooker. It sounds great and would like to try. Gave it a 4 because it sounds good. Dietitian comment: Bake it in a roasting pan at 375F for 2 hours or to internal temperature of 145F.

Just a note about this recipe shown above. It is on the bland side of the flavor spectrum. Very basic taste if you follow the recipe above. As a side note, it could use some spices that compliment apple and onion. As a suggestion, try some of the spices that are recommended for the diet that you need to follow. I used Fennel and Anise Seed, which did help bring the flavor of the apple and onion up a notch or two. It helped and they are both allowed on the Kidney Dialysis diet.

Neither my husband nor I liked this. Will stick to my cranberry/applesauce pork roast recipe.

Made this with golden delicious apples...it was what I had in the house. Made the house smell wonderful and tasted great. Will make it again for sure.

This website is great! My Mom was told yesterday that she has to switch to a low potassium diet. She was very depressed as she is dealing with many resulting side affects from CHF. Thank you for this site.
