I am unable to rate this until I try it. I do not see the pie crust listed in ingredients, I noticed someone else had the same question, I noticed the comment that it was listed, however it is not there. Can you please update so we can get the correct nutrients. Thank you. Dietitian comment: When I look at this recipe on my laptop and smart phone I see the pie crust listed as the 9th ingredient: ?15-ounce package (2 crusts) rolled, refrigerated, unbaked pie crust. I made this for my father and although he does not like vegetables and was complaining the whole time I was cutting up the carrots, he loved these!

Could rutabagas be added, my husband is ckd stage 4 and diabetic? Sounds good but haven't had a chance to make it. Dietitian comment: Yes you could try it. A 1/2 cup of boiled rutabagas has 180 mg potassium--still low enough to be kidney-friendly if you are on a low potassium diet.

Pie crust is not listed as an ingredient -- as one new to cooking, is it a frozen item? Dietitian comment: Yes it is included in the ingredient list: ?15-ounce package (2 crusts) rolled, refrigerated, unbaked pie crust.

My husband and I love this recipe - tasty and filling. We make a double batch and freeze half of it. I've subbed different veggies in and it still turns out fine. Makes a great take along for lunches or for a snack.
