Linda39 says she uses Daiya Dairy-Free Cheese. That sounds good. I will try to find some equivalent locally. Is Liquid Egg Substitute okay to use in DaVita's recipes? I haven't tried this recipe yet so I can't rate it. Some liquid egg products have phosphate additives so compare brands to see if there is one without the additives. You can also make it with egg whites if cholesterol is a concern.

Using Liquid Egg Substitute and Daiya Dairy-Free Cheese will drop the phosphorus level significantly. Daiya Mozzarella Cheese 2 oz is 15 phosphorus and 15 potassium and is quite good. And it melts!

Great, But I don't use cheese. Phosphorus is high at 279 mg.
