Made this today. At first wasn't sure about it. It actually came out pretty good. Followed the recipe exactly. May try adding snow peas next time. My dialysis husband enjoyed this as did I. Would definitely make again.

You really need to add an Asian/Thai category; This was absolutely outstanding! Had remainder for lunch the next day and we're planning to make it again next week. I tend to agree with Spidey 1 and adding fresh ginger and garlic would be a plus........ ----loneshark

I made this for my parents. It was too much chicken, and a increased the liquid to cover the chicken. I also added snow peas to the recipe. It turned out really good. I will definitely making it again, with a few modifications.

This is a very good recipe, but it would be more politically correct to rename it Asian rather than Oriental. I'm sure no offense was ever meant.

I made this and it is delicious!! I will be making it again. It is alittle time consuming, but well worth it. My whole family likes it too and they love Chinese food.

My family and I LOVE this dish. As a variation I had cooked the chicken on the grill instead of frying in oil and did not add the sugar.

Fall-apart tender chicken in a slightly spicy oriental sauce. Who needs a Chinese resaurant? My family loved this!
