Pretty good! My elderly mother has stage 3 kidney failure and she loved it. I omitted the salt because she doesn't need the added sodium as she also has CHF. I'm giving only four stars because I thought it was too lemony, but it was pretty tasty. I'd add the scallions to the sauce next time while simmering and I would probably add a little less lemon juice next time. We will make it again. Thanks for all the recipes on this site, not sure what I'd do without them. It's a whole new lifestyle and need to cook differently after finding out my elderly mother has kidney failure.

I have stage 3 kidney disease. I replaced the salt with garlic powder to reduce sodium. It was delicious and very easy to make. I will be making this again. I love your recipes.

Since my husband likes sweet and sour chicken I thought he would love this recipe. I thought I was great but he didn't like the maple syrup taste to it. He said it tastes too sweet. Too bad as it was really easy to make but since I am cooking for him I guess I won't be making it again. Thank you for all your recipes. Don't know what we would do without them. I'm giving it 3 stars since I liked it!
