I found a similar recipe but it uses 8oz cream cheese. Would the nutrient summary be the same? Dietitian comment: No it will be higher in sodium and fat. You can enter the recipe with your changes in the "Creations" feature of DaVita Diet helper to see all the nutrients and compare to the original recipe.

made this cake and it is very good. will make it again. do you think I could use sour cream instead of milk?Dietitian comment: I believe the sour cream will work as a substitute. Compare with other cake recipes that use sour cream.

I made this cake, but I had to cook it 1hr.30mins. I have an electric oven. So I don't know if that is the reason. I thought the taste was good. My husband also likes it because it was lemon. I was surprised that it acutally raised, without any baking powder or baking soda.
