Ravioli and Zucchini

I like it...although I used the cheese ravioli...which is what I had on hand. I felt it was a bit bland with the seasonings as suggested, however, I added some Mrs. Dash, added a bit of grated cheese and used more chicken broth because it was too dry using just 1/4 cup. Also, on a treat day, some sweet Italian sausage would be a good addition.

Looks delish but can I use cheese ravs, I have a whole bag in my freezer. I am a diabetic and know how to use them but now have CKD so this is a issue. Thanks all. Dietitian comment: The cheese ravioli is higher in phosphorus, calcium and sodium compared to meat ravioli. If you compensate by reducing sodium and phosphorus in other meal items, or by reducing the number of ravioli you may be able to make the change. Check with your dietitian to be sure.

I love this recipe....sometimes I make it with green beans instead of zucchini. I have also used pork broth instead of chicken broth.

I fixed it for the first time. I use fresh basil & I think fresh garlic would be better. I really liked it......

how do you figure points for the day. 3 stars Moderator comment: We look at nutrient totals and food choices instead of using a point system. Each recipe is divided into the food choices based on ingredients and nutrient totals.

I have been making this dish all summer and it is wonderful! I also just make it with the vegetables and for added flavor use fresh chopped garlic.
