Ravioli and Zucchini

I like it...although I used the cheese ravioli...which is what I had on hand. I felt it was a bit bland with the seasonings as suggested, however, I added some Mrs. Dash, added a bit of grated cheese and used more chicken broth because it was too dry using just 1/4 cup. Also, on a treat day, some sweet Italian sausage would be a good addition.

Ravioli and Zucchini

Looks delish but can I use cheese ravs, I have a whole bag in my freezer. I am a diabetic and know how to use them but now have CKD so this is a issue. Thanks all. Dietitian comment: The cheese ravioli is higher in phosphorus, calcium and sodium compared to meat ravioli. If you compensate by reducing sodium and phosphorus in other meal items, or by reducing the number of ravioli you may be able to make the change. Check with your dietitian to be sure.

I prepare this for my mother 9 lives. She said it was great. She did want a lil' more taste (being a country gal) lol... I Just added some Mrs Dash and it was really tasty.
