I liked this very much. Left off the salad dressing mix as I don't buy that kind of stuff. Added some garlic powder and black pepper to taste. Spread on one slice of light rye. Nice lunch.

why white bread over whole wheat? Dietitian comment: Traditionally white bread was recommended for kidney diets due to lower phosphorus and potassium content. Today's kidney diet includes whole grain breads as we now know not all the phosphorus is absorbed during digestion, plus you get the fiber benefit.
