Why would the basic boiled egg salad sandwich not be an option? What would the values of this optionbe? I just the egg and a teaspoon of mayonnaise and black pepper? Thank you Dietitian comment: The egg yolk contains most of the phosphorus. For dialysis patients trying to eat a high protein diet while keeping phosphorus low this is a great option to whole eggs or meat.
