I'm confused. I thought you shouldn't use honey, tomato sauce/paste, brown sugar in our diets. Dietitian comment: It is confusing! Most items, even those on the limit list, can be worked into a recipe or meal. What's most important is how it impacts your daily nutrient total. For example, one serving from this recipe has 32 mg potassium--a very small amount for a 2,000 mg potassium diet. Look at the total nutrients contributed instead of specific ingredients.

what is kitchen bouquet browning and seasoning sauce and where do I find it? haven't tried it yet. Dietitian comment: It is a browning and seasoning sauce primarily composed of caramel with vegetable flavorings and has been around since 1879.It is very low in sodium and can be used to add brown color and flavor to gravies, meat dishes and more. Walmart carries it and it is available in many grocery stores.

Can I have spare ribs with this? Dietitian comment: Yes. Try a DaVita recipe for Easy Oven Baked Ribs, Braised Short Ribs of Beef or Bob's Oven Baked Pork Ribs.
