Is corn a low potassium veggie also peas? Dietitian comment: 1/2 cup corn has 195 mg potassium and 67 mg phosphorus and 1/2 cup green peas has 88 mg potassium and 62 mg phosphorus. Both are acceptable if approved by your dietitian. Stick to the 1/2 cup serving size.

It wasn't bad! I added some tabasco sauce and I cooked four chicken thighs and four chicken breast, both skinless and boneless in a crock pot in reduced sodium chicken broth. My nephew said it reminded him of a Thai soup after he added a little salt. Since my CKD is related to my HBP, I avoid adding salt to my food as much as possible.

I think this would be good , but could you use cream corn instead of hole corn ? Moderator comment: Yes but reduce the corn to 1-1/2 cups to keep the nutrients the same.
