Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked bow-tie pasta
  • 1/4 cup celery
  • 2 tablespoons red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons carrot
  • 2 tablespoons red onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Chop celery, and bell pepper. Shred carrots. Finely chop onion.
  2. Mix pasta, celery, red bell pepper, carrot and onion in a bowl.
  3. In a separate small bowl, blend pepper, mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  4. Pour dressing mixture over pasta and vegetables and mix until well coated.
  5. Chill and serve.

Helpful hints

  • Add fresh basil, tarragon or rosemary if desired.
