Helpful hints

  • This is a wonderful addition to any meal, but especially beef and pork dishes.
  • Instead of using 2 common cucumbers, 1 large “English hothouse” seedless cucumber can be substituted.
  • Omit onion if desired—the cucumbers are just as tasty without it.

I enjoy a very similar dish using miracle whip and apple cider vinegar. The onion sounds like a great idea.

This is a great recipe. New to the program and this was the first dish I prepared. I added stevia and dill. Very easy and simple. Healthy and yummy.

YUM! Been making this all my life and never knew it was good for me. Just loved it with almost anything. I sometimes do cukes & onions in a vinegar & water drench with garlic powder & fresh cracked black pepper. After it's sat in the fridge for a few hours or, better yet, over night, it's a lovely addition to a meal too.
