Can I replace popcorn oil with olive oil or canola oil? Dietitian comment: Yes[INVALID]or any flavored oil you desire.

Really nice treat! Patients, teammates, and my husband really liked these. The garlic flavor eliminated any need or taste for salt. Very, very good!

GREAT! For sure do not miss the salt- what a treat. I was wondering if we could add curry powder without compromising the patient. I am new to helping someone on dialysis- Moderator comment: Yes, enjoy the curry flavor. One teasoon of curry powder contains 1 mg sodium, 31 mg potassium and 7 mg phosphorus--all are low for a kidney diet.

This is a great recipe. It's easy to do for a large group of people, and you don't really miss the salt.

Made this for my patients and they loved it. I thought it had had a little too much garlic and would substitute 1/2 garlic with onion powder and suggest just skipping the baking step all together as I didn't feel it added anything to taste.
