Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sherbet
  • 1/4 cup low-cholesterol egg product
  • 1/2 cup soy milk
  • 3 tablespoons whey protein powder
  • 1/4 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Blend ingredients in a blender for 30 to 45 seconds.
  2. Divide into two servings. Serve one now; freeze the second serving for later.

Helpful hints

  • Ask your dietitian to recommend an acceptable brand of protein powder.
  • For flavor variations try strawberries, raspberries or blackberries instead of blueberries.
